Privacy Policy
Effective July 12, 2026 · Last updated July 12, 2026
Elation Massage & Spa (“Elation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website at elationmassage.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It is written to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).
1. Information we collect
This Site is a brochure. It has no contact form, no account system, no analytics tags, and no advertising or remarketing tags. We do not collect personal information from you directly through this Site.
Two things still happen when you use it:
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information for every request, including IP address, browser type, and the page requested. This is used to deliver the Site and to protect it from abuse.
- Google Maps. The map on our Visit section is embedded from Google. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. If you would rather not load it, use the “Open in Google Maps” link instead, or block third-party content in your browser.
If you call us, email us, or book with us, we receive whatever you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, and the treatment you are booking. Bookings and payments are handled by Fresha, not by this Site.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the spa services you request.
- To confirm, reschedule, and honour your appointments.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use your information to advertise to you across other websites, because we do not run advertising or remarketing tags on this Site.
3. Cookies
This Site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no analytics and no advertising tags, so there is nothing here for you to consent to or opt out of.
The embedded Google Map may set third-party cookies when it loads, and Fresha will set its own cookies if you follow a booking link to their platform. Those are governed by Google’s and Fresha’s privacy policies.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business:
- Fresha — appointment booking and payment processing.
- Google LLC — the Maps embed on this Site.
- Our hosting provider — delivery of the Site.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
5. How long we keep information
Booking records are retained by Fresha under their own retention schedule. Correspondence you send us by phone or email is kept for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal obligations, and no longer. Server logs are retained for a short period for security purposes.
6. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share.
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise a right, contact us using the details in Section 9. We will verify your request using information you provide and respond within 45 days, as the law requires. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal.
7. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS, access controls, and reputable service providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
