Who it’s for
People who want deep results without deep pressure. Heat does work that an elbow otherwise has to do, so this is the treatment we point you toward if deep tissue has left you sore in the past, or if you are tight but touch-sensitive. It is our most requested ritual of warmth, and the one guests bring visitors to.
What to expect
Smooth basalt stones are heated to a temperature you will confirm on your own skin before anything begins. Some are placed and left along the spine and in the palms, radiating warmth into the muscle. Others are held and worked, gliding through oil, so the stone itself becomes the hand. Between passes your therapist works without the stones. Nothing is ever hotter than comfortable, and you are asked, more than once.
Afterward
A specific, unmistakable heaviness that guests describe as being warm from the inside. It lasts into the evening. Give yourself somewhere soft to go afterward and do not schedule anything sharp for the rest of the day.
