Who it’s for
Skin that has gone dull, flat, or flaky. The week before a wedding, a beach, a shoot, or a first warm weekend. Anyone whose body has been under a coat and is about to not be.
What to expect
The scrub comes first: a mineral and oil polish worked over the whole body, firmly enough to do something and gently enough to enjoy, then rinsed away. The massage follows on skin that has just been exfoliated, which is the reason the order matters. Oil goes into skin that can actually take it, and the massage strokes land differently on freshly polished skin. Sixty minutes is a brisk version of both. Ninety lets each half be what it should be.
Afterward
Skin is smooth, bright, and noticeably softer to the touch for several days. Skip harsh soaps for a day and stay out of the direct sun that afternoon.
